john wheatley: Yatton, North Somerset, United Kingdom; I moved to North Somerset in England in 1986, having lived in South Gloucestershire for the previous ten years. Most of my life has been connected to photography, one way or another. Ever since I can remember, I recall photographic equipment being part of the household, as my father was Chief Photographer for the de Havilland Aircraft Company at Hatfield aerodrome in the 1950's. For thirty years, I have specialized in sports photography, and in particular rallying. Being a bit of a "petrol head" both motor sport, and photography soon became amalgamated into one passion. Recently, I have decided to encompass other photographic challenges, which hopefully I'll display here, on this Blog. The purpose of this exercise, is to showcase some new personal projects.
